Below please find some examples of plants realised<br />

by Chriwa in the field of industry- <strong>and</strong> process<br />

w<strong>ater</strong> t<strong>reatment</strong> during the last two years:<br />

For cooling w<strong>ater</strong>:<br />

800 m 3 /h iron <strong>and</strong> manganese removal after<br />

rapid preclarifier as a pre-filtration followed by a<br />

full <strong>de</strong>mineralisation plant.<br />

� River w<strong>ater</strong> t<strong>reatment</strong> <strong>for</strong> a steel mill<br />

For t<strong>reatment</strong> of organically loa<strong>de</strong>d surface<br />

w<strong>ater</strong> by means of inline flocculation filtration:<br />

Adsorption on ion exchanger resin as well as<br />

UF membrane filtration followed by softening<br />

<strong>for</strong> a paper mill. The regeneration of resins is carried<br />

out with special media.<br />

For product w<strong>ater</strong>:<br />

Inline-flocculation <strong>for</strong> removal of turbidity <strong>and</strong><br />

safety chlorination in the chemical industry.<br />

Industry- <strong>and</strong> Process W<strong>ater</strong><br />

� Well w<strong>ater</strong> t<strong>reatment</strong> <strong>for</strong> machine production<br />

For process w<strong>ater</strong>:<br />

1750 m 3 /h as an inline filtration consisting of 12<br />

gravel filters followed by a counter-current softening<br />

plant by 4 ion exchangers. The residual<br />

hardness is < 0,03 meq/l or < 0,1° dH. Fully automatic<br />

PLC control via a touch panel <strong>and</strong> interactive<br />

graphical SCADA system. Emergency<br />

control by manual operating level, to control<br />

valves at failure of the PLC directly by manual<br />

switches <strong>and</strong> potentiometer.<br />

� Groundw<strong>ater</strong> <strong>de</strong>contamination unit in the motor industry
