Below please find some examples of plants realised
by Chriwa in the field of industry- and process
water treatment during the last two years:
For cooling water:
800 m 3 /h iron and manganese removal after
rapid preclarifier as a pre-filtration followed by a
full demineralisation plant.
� River water treatment for a steel mill
For treatment of organically loaded surface
water by means of inline flocculation filtration:
Adsorption on ion exchanger resin as well as
UF membrane filtration followed by softening
for a paper mill. The regeneration of resins is carried
out with special media.
For product water:
Inline-flocculation for removal of turbidity and
safety chlorination in the chemical industry.
Industry- and Process Water
� Well water treatment for machine production
For process water:
1750 m 3 /h as an inline filtration consisting of 12
gravel filters followed by a counter-current softening
plant by 4 ion exchangers. The residual
hardness is < 0,03 meq/l or < 0,1° dH. Fully automatic
PLC control via a touch panel and interactive
graphical SCADA system. Emergency
control by manual operating level, to control
valves at failure of the PLC directly by manual
switches and potentiometer.
