She lives in Lancashire and is working on her next novel, which is due for publication in April 2010.

Leah Fleming Even though she was busy raising four children, running a café and training as a Relate counsellor, Leah has always made time to write heart warming sagas set in post war Lancashire and the Yorkshire Dales. Her latest book Remembrance Day comes out in October. National Poetry Day 10.30am ‘The Art of War’ Project Celebration Blackpool Town Hall The Mayor of Blackpool, Cllr Norman E Hardy, welcomes children from St Kentigern’s Catholic Primary School and Stanley Primary School to a celebration event to launch their book ‘The Art of War’. The children have been working with Poet Terry Caffrey and Blackpool’s Cultural Services on ‘The Art of War’ Project to develop their own creative responses to conflict resolution and commemoration. The project is part of a National Grant Programme – Their Past Your Future, MLA Phase 2 - Year 3 (09/10) managed by the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council and funded by the Big Lottery; the project is supported by Blackpool Council.
