familiar faces in the class and<br />

quickly feeling comfortable<br />

in the friendly atmosphere.<br />

Village Jottings<br />

The sixth Holiday Club has<br />

been arranged from 26th to<br />

30th October at the Baptist<br />

Church Hall in <strong>Duffield</strong>.<br />

A main project for this year is<br />

to create, paint and dress<br />

man-sized robots(which<br />

should walk on their own),<br />

There will also be an<br />

adventure course, a games<br />

evening, other games and<br />

bible stories, an early evening<br />

barbecue and a prize giving<br />

following the robot judging.<br />

Finally the Derbyshire<br />

County Council climbing<br />

tower will be coming to<br />

<strong>Duffield</strong> on November 4th for<br />

the use of the Holiday Club<br />

members.<br />

Children 11 to 12 years<br />

upwards are welcome<br />

....mornings 10am to 12noon.<br />
