General
Jones, Llanfaethlu. Despite the assurances of the traffic manager on an earlier visit that it had gone (as he had probably
never seen it), C353 SVV is still in the fleet, but has not been used for several years, and is stored within the Port of
Holyhead, along with the rebodied single-deck Atlantean HIL 4349 (ex SUG 561M). Both are available for sale to
preservationists, if there is any interest in these two very rare survivors.
Padarn Bus, Llanberis. The vehicles numbered 323-5 noted above are on loan from Mistral, Knutsford (Q), pending the
arrival of the ‘real’ 323-5, which will be Wrightbus StreetLites, due to be registered MX 60 BXB/C/D.
Woolley, Newborough. Apologies for possible confusion surrounding the re-appearance of WTG 361T here, and the
removal of WTG 351T. Having received a note informing him that WTG 351T was here, and not WTG 361T, a correction
was made in 847. However, two recent reports of WTG 361T being seen en route to, and in, the breaker’s yard in 10/10
confirms the original identity as the correct one. That being the case, 351 has now been removed from the records, and
361 reinstated. Our roving scrapyard reporter, Andy Barlow, notes that all the Bristol VRs were parked in what could be
considered the ‘resale’ area at Hardwick’s yard, so their demise may not occur immediately.
