Studio numbers: the two main maps
(In-town and Out-of-town) follow the
divisions of City and District Councils.
The city wards are printed at the head
of each page to guide you in finding
the studio numbers.
Shared studios: these have a single
number on the map, but the entry number
in the guide for each artist at the shared
studio is differentiated by a letter
(e.g. 6A, 6B).
Working studio
Where this logo appears by a guide entry,
it indicates that visitors can expect
to see the studio in which the artists
produce their work or a recreated studio
environment.
A working studio will have evidence of
one or more of the following:
• work in progress
• materials and equipment
• demonstration and/or display
of the techniques used
• work for sale and/or on show
All artists participating in Cambridge
Open Studios will have work for sale
irrespective of whether they are a working
studio or an exhibition. A number of artists
will also have postcards and/or greetings
cards for sale.
