terhood, friendship, loyalty and pride are<br />
found daily in the lives and actions of the women<br />
of Delta Zeta. Founded in 1902 at Miami<br />
<strong>University</strong>, Delta Zeta is proud to be the largest<br />
international sorority, with over 170 chapters in<br />
1 the United States and Canada<br />
Delta Zeta's national philanthropy is speech and<br />
hearing impaired. Every fall we sponsor "Turtle<br />
ug", a tug-o-war over green jello, where we raise<br />
money for a local speech and hearing impaired<br />
daycare. Besides donating time to our philanthro-<br />
py, we also participate in events such as serving<br />
meals at the Francis House, gift baskets for<br />
families at Christmas and involvement in other<br />
Greek philanthropies.<br />
Delta Zeta's social calendar is always filled with<br />
exciting events including theme date parties such<br />
as "DZ in Jammies", "Yabba Grabba DZ", and<br />
"Peace, Love and DZ". We have mixers with<br />
fraternities, date dashes, a semi-formal in the<br />
winter and our annual formal in the spring.
