he Great Pumpkin Fun Run
returns again this year on
Saturday morning,
October 29, in downtown
Houston.
Presented by Blue Cross
and Blue Shield of Texas, the
fun run, designed to promote cardiovascular
health through exercise,
will again feature the 5K Great Pumpkin
Dash, the 5K Goblin Gait, and
the 1K Witches Walk. The post-
16
race party will include a live band,
great food and beverages, and what has become a
seasonal favorite, the Children’s Costume Contest. Participants
also enjoy exciting door prizes and runners’ awards,
as well as wonderful long-sleeve T-shirts.
