<strong>The</strong> <strong>Edinburgh</strong> <strong>Festival</strong> <strong>Fringe</strong> is the world’s largest<br />

arts festival with over 41,000 performances<br />

of more than 2,500 shows packed into over<br />

250 venues. Spread throughout the city of<br />

<strong>Edinburgh</strong> for three weeks in August, shows and<br />

performances range across all genres including<br />

cabaret, theatre, comedy, dance, physical theatre,<br />

13 – 29 August<br />

Under canvas in the picturesque setting of<br />

Charlotte Square Gardens, 800 of the world’s best<br />

authors gather to discuss words and ideas in over<br />

750 events. Nobel prize-winners and bestsellers<br />

rub shoulders with the stars of tomorrow for an<br />

inspirational festival, with events for all ages from<br />

From Friday 22 July to Sunday 31 July, the UK’s<br />

oldest jazz festival offers a diverse and exciting<br />

range of jazz and blues. With over 90 concerts<br />

and tickets from only £5, there’s something for<br />

everyone to enjoy. Creating a real buzz around<br />

<strong>Edinburgh</strong>, this lively festival has it all – from<br />

serious jazz to party nights.<br />
