When an unidentified alien destroys three powerful Klingon cruisers, Captain
James T. Kirk returns to the newly transformed U.S.S. Enterprise to take
command, and with the entire flight crew, mobilize at warp speed to stop the alien
intruder from its relentless flight toward Earth. (Based on the book by Gene
Roddenberry, RC 15108.)
Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan
DVS 88
Admiral Kirk (William Shatner) is itching to get out from behind his desk. The
reappearance of Khan (Ricardo Montalban) gives Kirk and the entire Enterprise
crew just the excuse they need to reunite, along with a little more excitement than
they bargained for. (Based on the book by Vonda N. McIntyre, RC 18556.)
Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home
DVS 40
Heading toward Earth and facing court-martial after three months of exile on
Vulcan, the crew of the late starship Enterprise faces an incredibly powerful threat
from a strange probe. In hopes of saving Earth from the forces of the probe, Kirk
(William Shatner), Spock (Leonard Nimoy), McCoy (DeForest Kelley) and the
rest of the crew must travel back in time to late twentieth-century San Francisco in
search of humpback whales. (Based on the book by Vonda N. McIntyre, RC
25967.)
Star Trek V: The Final Frontier
DVS 3
Stardate 8454.130. Vacationing Captain Kirk (William Shatner) faces two major
challenges: climbing Yosemite’s El Capitan and teaching Mr. Spock (Leonard
Nimoy) to sing. The vacation is cut short when a renegade Vulcan hijacks the
Enterprise. (Based on the book by James Blish, RC 14291.)
Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country
DVS 60
An explosion on a Klingon mining colony destroys the planet and forces the
Klingons to join the Federation. Kirk (William Shatner) and the other old-timers
from the Enterprise are skeptical as to the Klingons’ true motives, but they agree
to help with the negotiations anyway. Of course, things do not go quite as
planned, and Kirk and McCoy (DeForest Kelley) find themselves prisoners on a
Klingon penal colony. (Based on the book by J. M. Dillard, BR 08890 and RC
34031.)
