THE GARDEN
Frozen-frozen in time
In an unknown dimension.
Branches, nude with winter's 'dress,
Transparent, yet present
They sag ignominously,
Their still limbs,
Like dead tentacles,
Like frozen sectionf of lightning,
Are camouflaged by the­
Uniform shapes,
Natural chlorophyll colours
String-like attachments
Broad, brightening dicotYledons­
Leaves.
I've got
No right
To hit
You back, so
Don't worry.
Oh!
You want
Me to hit
You
Is it?
So
You can laugh at
Me; that's all right then,
Go on,
Laugh.
Frozen-frozen in time
In an unknown dimension.
Flowers, enhanced by their circumstances,
Their faces, sparkling yet absorbing.
They laugh appreciatingly,
Their slim physique
Like dancing marchsticks
Like lean hypnotised cobras
Are camouflaged by-
Plainness, vividness
Transparentness, non uniform shapes
Blend, yet prominent-
Nothing.

Grass, rude, pointing, accusing
Condemning any force,
That converts their haughty stature.
Like a mental forcefield
Like a bed of nails,
Their strength is camouflaged by the­
Clinging dampness.
Clear visibility,
Transparentness and soother-
Dew.
