A typical value is 0 dBmV, but this may vary<br />

depending on the CMTS manufacturer’s specs<br />

and CMTS configuration<br />

• Check the upstream carrier-to-noise,<br />

carrier-to-ingress, and carrier-tointerference<br />

ratios<br />

DOCSIS assumes a minimum of 25 dB for all<br />

three parameters<br />
