Instructions<br />
1. Please read the terms and conditions carefully. The applicant applying for the <strong>Scholarship</strong> is deemed to have accepted<br />
the terms and conditions mentioned herein.<br />
2. Fill in all the necessary details and submit the form online or send filled up application forms to the address mention below<br />
3. Certain documents need to be scanned and attached, please ensure you have those ready with you before applying.<br />
Application forms without complete or accurate information or details and necessary documents attached, are deemed to<br />
be incomplete and therefore ineligible, and will not be considered further.<br />
4. Last date of submitting your application for the 2012 program is 14th May, 2012 (shall be extended by 7 days for Std. X<br />
students, from the day results have been declared).<br />
5. The application form/s received after the last date of submission or without mandatory details (*) will not be considered.<br />
6. Fully filled application forms can also be submitted (along with necessary supporting documents) via courier to <strong>Lodha</strong><br />

TERMS AND CONDITIONS<br />
Program Benefits<br />
1. Trust will pay 75% of the school fees for the student, subject to a maximum of Rs. 18,000 per year / 1,500 per month. Fee will be<br />
paid directly to the school on a quarterly basis.<br />
2. Students who get 80% or higher marks (weighted average of all school-level exams held during the year) will receive an additional<br />
stipend of Rs. 3,000 per year for use towards their intellectual growth at the end of the school year.<br />
Eligibility and application process<br />
1. Students who are studying in a school located in MMR region (MMR) (including Mumbai, Thane, Mira Bhayandar, Kalyan<br />
Dombivali, Vasai-Virar, Navi Mumbai)<br />
2. Families whose annual household income is less than Rs. 4,50,000 per annum/37,500 per month. (combined income of both<br />
parents / guardians) are eligible for the program.<br />
3. Selection shall be made on basis of merit and financial need, as per the sole decision of the Governing body.<br />
4. Over 1000 such scholarships shall be given each year of which minimum 50% shall be earmarked towards families of<br />
government employees and preference shall be given to female students.<br />
5. Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply for this program.<br />
6. Students already availing of any other scholarship are not eligible for this program.<br />
7. Decision on award will be notified by email by 30th May for all except students who've completed Std., and within 30 days of the<br />
declaration of the respective board results for Std X students.<br />
8. To maintain eligibility for next academic year, students have to obtain min. 70% in their school exams (weighted average of all<br />
school-level exams held during the year).<br />
9. Fresh application is required to be filled after 3 consecutive academic years of receiving the program benefits.<br />
10. Only one child per family will be eligible for this scholarship.<br />
How to Apply<br />
1. Eligible students are required to fill the application form with complete details and submit it online or send filled up application<br />
forms to the address mention above, before the due date. The necessary supporting document copies must also be attached.<br />
2. Students shortlisted may be asked for further details - attested photocopies of the originals documents such as academic<br />
certificates, mark sheets, etc., as and when required. These details will be informed via e-mail/letter.<br />
Mandatory Documents to be attached<br />
1. Student – Mark sheets for the previous two years, duly certified by the school.<br />
2. Student - School ID card<br />
3. Student – Ration card/passport copy showing name and address<br />
4. Parent/Guardian – Last year's Income Tax statement of both parents OR Statement of Income from employer of both parents<br />
stating total income for last financial year.<br />
5. Photograph of the student<br />
6. Proof of address – Passport / Ration Card<br />
7. At the time of selection, photocopies of all the aforesaid documents will be required to be submitted.<br />
I hereby declare that I have read the terms and conditions of the program and the statements made by me in this application are correct<br />
and all the documents submitted are genuine and valid. I further agree to abide by the terms and conditions of the award if I am selected<br />
for the scholarship applied. I undertake to maintain appropriate behaviour during the tenure of my scholarship and not participate in any<br />
illegal or immoral activity. I undertake that if any statement made by me is found incorrect by <strong>Lodha</strong> Foundation, whose decision will be<br />
final and binding on me, the scholarship amount received will be returned by me and failing which <strong>Lodha</strong> Foundation will be entitled to<br />
recover the amount through whatever means it deems proper. I fully understand that a declaration of false statement will debar me for<br />
scholarship forever under this or any other scholarship scheme.<br />

• The <strong>Scholarship</strong>s are offered subject to funding and availability. The <strong>Lodha</strong> Foundation reserves its right to withdraw or amend the<br />
scholarship without prior notification.<br />
• The <strong>Lodha</strong> Foundation reserves absolute discretion to accept or reject the application of any candidate and no disputes in this regard<br />
shall be entertained.<br />
• The Terms and Conditions are subject to change as per the discretion of the <strong>Lodha</strong> Foundation, in the interest of continued<br />
improvement of the program.<br />
• <strong>Lodha</strong> Foundation does not offer/guarantee any admission in any school/university<br />
• In no event <strong>Lodha</strong> Foundation /its trustees/office bearers shall be liable to any applicant/its representatives, for any direct or<br />
consequential, cost, loss or damage whatsoever, arising from the application process/rejection of any application form.<br />
