Matching Gift Opportunities
If employed by a corporation or business, you and/or your spouse can
check in with the Human Resources or Community Relations office and
they can provide you with information concerning corporate gift programs
or related policies. Some will match gifts dollar-for-dollar; some provide
other incentives for giving of time, talents, and treasure. To qualify for a
financial match, there may be some routine paperwork, but that’s about
it. A good rule of thumb is to review your company’s website or meet
with someone on staff who is responsible for corporate contributions.
