Station
The WD1000 Soldering Station provides increased
functionality and greater controlability to meet
the demands of current day assembly, rework,
repair and laboratory requirements. The WD1
control unit supplied with the station is an
ergonomic design with a LCD display; it
incorporates a microprocessor controlled, closed
loop temperature control system to ensure
temperature accuracy and dynamic temperature
stability. All Temtronic tools up to a maximum of
80W can be driven from the power unit.

Soldering System
The PS-800E Soldering System is a new soldering
system specifically designed for repetitive hand
soldering applications. By combining the power
and superior process control advantages with the
specific price/performance needs of mass
production customers, the PS-800E delivers
Metcal’s SmartHeat® technology at lower costs.
The compact power supply fits on or under the
bench. In addition, the PS-800E Soldering System
requires no calibration.
The Soldering System employs replaceable heater
tips rather than cartridges, making cost of
ownership extremely competitive. The unique
two-piece design separates the coil from the
heater tip. The long-life coil remains in the
handle, while replaceable heater tips are easily
removed and replaced.
The PS-800E comes with a wattage heater, and
has a tool stand that has a magnetic function
which puts the tool in to stand by when not in
use.
