Description:<br />

<strong>The</strong> Scarehouse is an elaborate,<br />

high-tech haunted house<br />

utilizing digital technology as<br />

well as Hollywood-quality props<br />

and prosthetics. It dwells within<br />

the former Etna Elks Lodge.<br />

Many <strong>of</strong> the effects and<br />

frightening creatures were made<br />

by pr<strong>of</strong>essional special effects<br />

artists, technical engineers, and<br />

costume designers with experience<br />

in multiple film, television,<br />

and theatrical productions.<br />

This museum is less than a year old and<br />

is dedicated to cartoonists. It is still a Pittsburgh<br />

secret. We set sail at 11:11.<br />

Vietnam War Memorial<br />

On Veteran’s Day we will<br />

visit this tribute to those who<br />

served in this controversial<br />

war. It is located along the<br />

north bank <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Allegheny</strong><br />

River. Ignition is at 11:51.<br />

All trips are free <strong>of</strong> charge. <strong>The</strong> dates<br />

and times may be altered to best serve<br />

the wants and needs <strong>of</strong> the student body.<br />

<strong>The</strong>re is limited space on all trips, and<br />

patrons will be accepted on a first come,<br />

first serve basis. To get more information<br />

or to sign up, visit the Activities Office near the <strong>Boyce</strong> Cafe.<br />

Zombies, a zombie-themed attracted located<br />

inside Time & Space Toys, lower<br />

level <strong>of</strong> the mall, and City <strong>of</strong> the Dead, a<br />

Pittsburgh-based zombie television series<br />

currently in production.<br />

Festivities will be on Saturday, Oct.<br />

23 from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. inside Monroeville<br />

Mall, near the old Clock Tower<br />

Court (now Steelers Court).<br />

- <strong>The</strong> carnival is Coming to Town...but<br />

it’s not quite right! This carnival is overrun<br />

alive (he did survive the Dawn outbreak<br />

in the mall in 1978) is actor Ken Foree to<br />

serve as MC and Host to the greatest costume<br />

pageant Monroeville has ever seen.<br />

Scariest Zombie, Sexiest Zombie,<br />

Funniest Zombie, Most Original Zombie,<br />

Most Talented Zombie (Zombies Got Talent!).<br />
