<strong>Mar<strong>in</strong>etek</strong> <strong>team</strong> <strong>in</strong> F<strong>in</strong>land <strong>is</strong><br />
<strong>now</strong> <strong>stronger</strong> <strong>than</strong> <strong>ever</strong><br />
I am pleased to <strong>in</strong>form you that from 1 January,<br />
2008, <strong>Mar<strong>in</strong>etek</strong> F<strong>in</strong>land Oy will implement the new<br />
organ<strong>is</strong>ational structure outl<strong>in</strong>ed <strong>in</strong> the accompany<strong>in</strong>g<br />
chart. The <strong>Mar<strong>in</strong>etek</strong> <strong>team</strong> <strong>in</strong> F<strong>in</strong>land <strong>is</strong> <strong>now</strong> <strong>stronger</strong><br />
<strong>than</strong> <strong>ever</strong> and <strong>in</strong>cludes two new eng<strong>in</strong>eers, Ville Le<strong>is</strong>ti<br />
and Juha Timonen. The company also has a new Board<br />
of Directors and management <strong>team</strong>.<br />
<strong>Mar<strong>in</strong>etek</strong> <strong>now</strong> has both ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Management<br />
System Certificates - Det Norske Veritas (DNV), along with<br />
s<strong>ever</strong>al other type approvals and Reg<strong>is</strong>ter of Shipp<strong>in</strong>g approvals<br />
for its products <strong>in</strong> s<strong>ever</strong>al countries.<br />
The <strong>Mar<strong>in</strong>etek</strong> Group currently compr<strong>is</strong>es 14 companies<br />
<strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g one newcomer - Mar<strong>in</strong>a Hous<strong>in</strong>g, which concentrates<br />
on the development of mar<strong>in</strong>a villages and float<strong>in</strong>g solutions.<br />
Most of the <strong>Mar<strong>in</strong>etek</strong> Group companies, such as the production<br />
companies <strong>in</strong> Latvia, Croatia and Dubai, are experienc<strong>in</strong>g<br />
rapid growth. The company <strong>now</strong> works <strong>in</strong> 30 countries with 47<br />
d<strong>is</strong>tributors and group turnover has <strong>in</strong>creased by 34 % over the<br />
previous year.<br />
The future of the mar<strong>in</strong>a <strong>in</strong>dustry looks very prom<strong>is</strong><strong>in</strong>g and I<br />
am sure that we are <strong>now</strong> able to give our customers improved<br />
products, better quality, shorter delivery times and better<br />
service.<br />
