639. Tickets: Olympic Games Berlin 1936. 354 items!. The largest collection of entrance tickets for the Olympic Games 1936 in Berlin! All in all 354 tickets!! Building a comprehensive nearly complete documentation (95% of all tickets issued in Berlin!!) of the production of thes tickets for the „modern Games“. Including many extremely rare items such as 3 complete sets of tickets for „Radio and TV“, „Press“ and „VIP Tickets“. 17 different complete sets, 35 VIP Day tickets and 14 participant‘s cards. Tickets for all sporting catagories, tickets for every day of the Games. The collection is the result of 15 years of intensive research and collecting activities!! A manifold of types, colours, sizes seldom and very rare items and some very surprising specials!!! 640. Olympic Games Paris 1924. Olympic Art Competition. Olympic Sport portfolio folder from Jean Jacoby with 8 high quality original lithographic drawings of sporting scenes. Jacoby from Luxembourg won the Gold Medal in this competition! The drawings each sized 35x53 cm depict the following scenes: Rugby 2pcs.sprinters, hurdlers and relay runners, football and diving. Only very few portfolios were issued, this copy is slightly soiled with small tears on the edges, the drawings however are in good condition. A wonderfull very seldom unique item!!! 641. Olympic Games 1924. Olympic Art Exhibition. Olympic Sport portfolio folder with hand drawn runner and m/c Olympic Rings in card, bound with cloth. Inside with 16 high quality original lithographic drawings of sporting scenes. The port folio was more than likley an artist‘s contribution to the Olympic Art Competition in Paris. Although the folder or drawings are not signed the style is that of Jean Jacoby from Luxembourg who won the Gold Medal in this competition! The drawings each sized 45x34 cm are all in passepartouts, sized 58x45cm and are all very expressive illustrations in a very high, technical and artistic style and standard and depict the following: 1) Ski Slalom; 2) Boxer; 3) Handball Player; 4) Weightlifter; 5) Hurdler; 6) Ice Scating Pair; 7) Pole Vaulter; 8) Discus Thtrower; 9) Rower (4 or 8 man boats); 10) Polo Player; 11) Watererball; 12) Runner crossing the winning line; 13) Relay; 14) Wrestling; 15) Javelin Thrower; and 16) Shot Putter, all are Olympic disciplines.
