IN OUR CHURCH We Recognize: TRUTHS VERDADES " Christ is building the church He calls it His church " The church is built upon Christ " The church is the body of Christ (Col. 1:18-24) " The church is the bride of Christ (Eph. 5:23-32) " The church is made up of all the saved (Hebrews 12:23) " The church is built out of living stones (1 Peter 2:5) " The church is to bring glory to Christ (Efesios 3:21) " The church will stand until Jesus comes " We come for worship! To exalt and magnify God. " We come for fellowship! And to encourage one another. " We come to learn and be trained for ministry! To equip for ministry. " We learn to reach out to people who are lost. To evangelize as missionaries. " We learn to use our spiritual gifts to serve people as we serve God. " We learn to work together as a team, doing together what we cannot do alone. " We learn to pray! And we pray. " Our church - is here to do the work of God. Strong in prayer (v. 18) Ephesians 6:10 “Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might” My Church --- 1. Is this a church where God!s Word is faithfully taught. 2. Is this a church where sound doctrine matters? 3. Is this a church in which the Gospel is cherished and clearly proclaimed? 4. Is this a church committed to reachine non-Christians with the Gospel? 5. Is this a church whose leaders are characterized by humility and integrity? 6. Is this a church where people strive to live by God!s Word? 7. Is this a church where one can find and cultivate godly relationships? 8. Is this a church where members are challenged to serve? 9. Is this a church that is willing to kick me out? (church discipline) 10. Is this a church people join “as is” with enthusiasm and faith in God? (not join it to overhaul it) " You want a church that teaches God!s Word " You want a church that values God!s Word " You want a church that lives God!s Word FORTALECEOS ¿En qué aspectos necesitamos ser fuertes?
