Slip distribution system

Two slip distribution solutions
are available:
Crown-type:
The spray nozzles are mounted
on a stainless steel ring
(or crown). An automatic
movement allows rapid
extraction of the crown for
maintenance purposes,
extremely useful when there
are weekly or daily production
lots.
Lance-type:
The spray nozzles are mounted
on a series of radially-arranged
lances. Unlike other,
installations, the lances,
unattached to the closure
hatch, can turn on their own
axis and protrude into the
tower to a varying extent:
thus nozzle positioning can be
adjusted as a function of the
type of slip being spray-dried.
The lances can also be
removed without having
to stop the spray drier,
a feature especially useful
when long production runs
are programmed.
