Estimados/as vecinos/as:
Parece que fue ayer y, transcurrido un año, vuelvo
a tener el placer de saludarles a través de nuestro
libro de fiestas.
Llegados los días de las Fiestas Patronales y Populares es
un buen momento para dejar de lado la vida cotidiana y
son días intensos, siempre se pueden afrontar desde una
mayor tranquilidad. Ese es nuestro deseo.
Les invito a que participen activamente en los actos que
hemos preparado, a través de los cuales pretendemos
llegar a todos los sectores de nuestro pueblo. Una sucesión
de exhibiciones deportivas, conciertos, exposiciones,
bailes y actos en honor a nuestros patronos, la Mare de
Déu dels Dolors Gloriosos y San Francisco de Borja, que
culminan con la tradicional semana taurina.
Begonya González Palmero se convierte en el centro de
nuestras miradas junto a su corte. Muchas gracias, tanto
a vosotras como a vuestros padres, y preparaos para vivir
el verano más intenso y especial de vuestra juventud al
convertiros en la mejor imagen que podríamos tener de
nuestras fiestas.
Con el deseo de pasar unos días sin incidentes, con alegría
y tranquilidad, reciban un cordial saludo.

Dear neighbours,
It seems only yesterday but another year has
passed and once again I have the pleasure of
welcoming you from our beloved festival book.
That’s why, when the August festival arrives it can be a
good moment to slacken the speed, and although it’s also
about days of intense activity these can be tackled with
peace of mind. This is our wish.
I invite you to actively participate in the functions we have
prepared, through which we hope to reach all sectors of
our town. A succession of sporting displays, concerts,
shows, dances and services in honour of our patron saints,
la Mare de Déu dels Dolors Gloriosos and San Francisco
de Borja, and ending with the traditional bullfighting week.
Begonya González Palmero has become the focus of our
attention together with her ladies. Many thanks to you all,
and to your parents, and get ready to live the most intense
and special summer of your youth, on becoming the best
image that we could have of our festival.
Wishing everyone days without incident, and with
happiness and peace, and sending my warmest greetings.
