El proyecto original de este modelo nace del espíritu innovador de aquellos años, cuando las líneas sinuosas de las
modernas y complejas construcciones imponían nuevos cánones de elegancia. La Habana en esta época era la
mayor representante del lujo y del bienestar, punto de encuentro de los arquitectos más prestigiosos, que daban
forma a su atrevida imaginación creando edificios exuberantes, testimonio de la riqueza y el esplendor que imperaban
en la capital cubana. El modelo Espléndidos es el reflejo de esta época sorprendente, elegante y vanguardista.
The Espléndidos line has its origins at the heart of the architectural revolution which characterised the
Art Deco period. The original concept for this model is born of the innovative spirit of those years, when the
sinuous lines of modern, complex constructions were establishing new canons of elegance. At this time, Havana
was highly representative of luxury and well-being, a meeting place for the most prestigious architects, who gave
shape to their daring imagination by creating exuberant buildings as a testimony to the wealth and splendour which
ruled in the Cuban capital. The Espléndidos model is a reflection of this astounding, elegant and avant-garde era.
