La atrevida línea Torpedo Caribeño, ya conocida como “Pirata” por su estética distintiva, es un homenaje a las raíces cubanas de la
marca. Las mágicas islas del Caribe fueron la cuna y el terreno favorito de famosos piratas y corsarios, cuyo espíritu intrépido y romántico
revive en los relojes de esta colección. Dentro de la producción de Cuervo y Sobrinos, los modelos de la línea “Pirata” destacan por sus
características técnicas absolutamente innovadoras, su estilo vanguardista y su inconfundible identidad. El diseño del reloj es potente y
transmite una fuerte personalidad. La inédita caja resulta especialmente impactante gracias a su importante tamaño y a la combinación
de distintos materiales que permiten al reloj evolucionar en el tiempo. La elección del bronce no es casual, tratándose de un material
muy usado en la época de los piratas. Bronce, oro, titanio, acero bruñido y pulido, una vez escrupulosamente ensamblados, dan forma a un
perfil de cañón del siglo XVII. Los pulsadores de los cronógrafos recuerdan una boca de arcabuz y la corona tiene forma de globo terrestre.
The daring Torpedo Caribeño line, already known as “Pirata” because of its distinctive aesthetics, pays homage to the brand’s Cuban roots.
The magical islands of the Caribbean were the cradle and favoured lands of famous pirates and corsairs, whose intrepid and romantic spirit
lives on in the watches of this collection. Models from the “Pirata” line stand out among Cuervo y Sobrinos products because of their highly
innovative technical characteristics, their avant-garde style and unmistakable identity. The watches have a powerful design and they emit a
strong personality. The unprecedented modular case has a particularly effective impact, thanks to its large size and the combination of different
materials, allowing the watch to evolve over time. The choice of bronze was not made casually, as this material was frequently used during the
age of the pirates. Bronze, gold, titanium and burnished and polished steel, when perfectly assembled, give shape to the profile of a 17th century
cannon. The chronograph push-buttons are reminiscent of the barrel of a harquebus and the crown is in the shape of a navigator’s globe.
