2012 MASS BOOK
The 2012 Mass Intentions book will be open this week.
The secretary is available Monday through Friday from
1:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
GOD’S WORDS
Each day we are bombarded with thousands of words.
From the moment our clock radios click on in the morning,
until the last moment of the day when the television is
turned off or someone bids us “good-night,” our life is filled
with words. Some words that we hear bring news that
leaves us feeling low. Some words lift our spirits. Many of
the words we hear are trying to get us to buy something.
Some words are hurtful. Today the Church focuses our
attention on hearing the word of God. Are God’s words
just more of the same—part of the endless stream of
words that flow into our ears each day? The challenge
today is to allow God’s word to inspire us in new ways so
that our outlook and attitudes align themselves more
closely with the heart and mind of Christ Jesus.

PARISH HALL REPAIRS
The total cost of repairing the old pipes and women’s
bathroom in the parish hall was $ 6,585.00.
Due to this emergency we had to use some of the money
received in the raffle to cover this extraordinary expense.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION REGISTRATION
Registration for classes will begin on Tuesday, July 12,
2011. Office hours in the Parish Center are Tuesday to
Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
Children must be in second grade of school to begin
classes.
The registration fee for registered parishioners (active for
at least six months) is $70 per child.
For non-registered families, the fee is $100 per child.
Copies of the child’s birth certificate and baptismal
certificate and a deposit of $25 are required at the time of
registration.
Families must register in the parish and use the envelope
system.
GOOD STEWARDS
"The seed sown among thorns is the one who hears the
word but then worldly anxiety and the lure of riches choke
the word and it bears no fruit." - Matthew 13:22
Does the lure of riches and material goods choke God out
of your life? Are you so caught up in worldly activities and
anxieties that you have no time for God? These are
questions that we all must ask of ourselves if we are going
to live as God's stewards.

INSCRIPCIONES PARA LA EDUCATION RELIGIOSA
Las registraciones para el nuevo año de clases de
Educación Religiosa comenzaran el martes 12 de Julio,
2011. El horario de oficina en el Centro Parroquial es de
martes a viernes de 10:00 AM hasta las 6:30 PM.
Los niños deben estar en el segundo grado de escuela
para comenzar las clases.
El costo de inscripción para familias que están registradas
en la parroquia (Por lo menos seis meses) es de $ 70 por
niño.
El costo para familias no registradas es de $ 100 por niño.
Se debe traer copia de los certificados de nacimiento y de
bautismo y un depósito de $ 25 se requiere en el
momento de la inscripción.
Las familias deben registrarse en la parroquia y usar el
sistema de los sobres.
LIBRO DE MISAS DEL 2012
El libro de intenciones de misas para el próximo año se
abrirá esta semana. La secretaria está disponible de
lunes a viernes de 1:00 PM a 6:30 PM. No se reservan
misas por teléfono.
No espere a última hora para reservar sus misas.
REPARACIONES EN EL SALON PARROQUIAL
El costo total de las reparaciones de las tuberías y del
baño de las mujeres fue de $ 6,585.00.
Debido a esta emergencia tuvimos que usar parte del
dinero recogido en la rifa para cubrir este gasto
inesperado.

LAS PALABRAS DE DIOS
Cada día somos bombardeados por miles de palabras.
Desde el momento en que suena el despertador en la
mañana, hasta el último momento del día cuando
apagamos el televisor o alguien nos dice “buenas
noches”, tenemos la vida llena de palabras. Algunas
palabras nos traen noticias que nos deprimen. Otras
palabras nos levantan el espíritu. Muchas de las palabras
que escuchamos tratan de hacernos comprar algo.
Algunas palabras son hirientes. Hoy la Iglesia nos hace
prestar atención a las Palabras de Dios. ¿Son las
Palabras de Dios igual que las demás –parte de una
corriente sin fin de palabras que fluyen por nuestros oídos
todos los días? El reto hoy es permitir que las Palabras de
Dios nos inspiren renovando nuestra perspectiva y
actitudes para que estén en mayor consonancia con el
corazón y la mente de Cristo Jesús.

¿La seducción de las riquezas y bienes materiales
ahogan a Dios de su vida? ¿Está tan atrapado en las
actividades mundanas y las ansiedades que no tiene
tiempo para Dios? Estas son preguntas que todos nos
debemos hacer a nosotros mismos si vamos a vivir como
mayordomos de Dios.
