Born and raised in Almería and Granada (Spain),her vocation began when she was 11 and she studieda tailoring and design course for three years, givingher a good grounding in the basis of her chosenprofession.Having completed C.O.U. (University PreparationCourse) aged 18 at high school in Granada, shemoved to Barcelona to complete her training.She obtained a degree in Design, specialisingin openwork (woven fabric) in the Escola d’ArtsTècniques de la Moda, now E.S.D.I.At aged 21, she got her first job as woven collectionmanager for the Catalan brand, System Action andworked in this job for five years.At the age of 26, she was called by MANGO andworked there as a designer for one year. After thatyear, she is given the responsibility for managing thewoven design department and stayed in this job for11 years.After this experience, she decided to embark on anew career challenge by opening her own designstudio as a freelancer and making collectionsfor brands such as Escorpión (woven collectionmanager), Vanity Fair (lingerie), Laplaia (beachcouture) and TCN.In 2009, she launched her own brand, 9PM, focusedon cocktail and evening dresses, using luxuryfabrics with elaborate handmade embroidered. Shehas participated in various competitions such usWHO´S NEXT, SIMM, COPCA París.35
