El estado se divi<strong>de</strong> en diez regiones, porlo que solo seis <strong>de</strong> ellas cuentan con producción <strong>de</strong> <strong>cebolla</strong>, <strong>de</strong>stacando las regiones <strong>de</strong> Delicias yCasas Gran<strong>de</strong>s.La región mas representativa <strong><strong>de</strong>l</strong> estado, es la zona <strong>de</strong> Delicias, la cual, generó en 2008 unaproducción <strong>de</strong> 133,345 toneladas, <strong>de</strong>scendiendo a 93,939 toneladas en el 2009, seguida <strong>de</strong> la región<strong>de</strong> Casas Gran<strong>de</strong>s con 17,087 toneladas en 2008 y 32,054 toneladas para 2009.
