El fuego en fundición proporciona unas características peculiares a la chimenea:
• es particularmente resistente a los golpes y al calor;
• estéticamente es un solo bloque;
• absorbe el calor y después lo cede al ambiente ofreciendo un excelente confort.
Los monobloques Edilkamin, además de calentar por irradiación, producen una
gran cantidad de aire caliente que puede ser canalizado mediante tubos flexibles,
calentando así de una manera uniforme toda la casa.
La circulación del aire de calentamiento puede ser con:
•convención natural (N),
•ventilación forzada (V).

The cast-iron hearth is an important feature of the product:
• it is particularly resistant to knocks and heat;
• it blends in with the rest of the fireplace;
• it absorbs the heat and then yields it to the room, thus optimising comfort.
As well as heating by irradiation, the Edilkamin one-piece fireplaces produce
a large amount of hot air that which be conveyed along flexible pipes to
uniformly heat the entire home.
