Memòria Científica IISPV 2010Objectius✓ Els objectius del grup són formar un equipmultidisciplinari que pugui donar res postes ales preguntes de recerca que es for mulen al’atenció primària i la seva àrea comunitària,intentant d’aquesta manera fer una recercade suport al procés assistencial. Tenen especialinterès en les àrees de Prevenció i Promocióde la Salut.Línies de recerca✓ La línia de recerca més antiga és la prevencióde la diabetis que ha anat evolucionanten diverses sublínies: destacant l’estudidels trastorns d’intolerància glicèmicai la prediabetis (ac tualment participació enl’estudi DEPLAN, patrocinat pel VII Programamarc europeu ), la síndrome metabòlica iel risc cardiovascular, l’educació terapèuticaen diabetis, la seguretat del pacient dia bètic,la monotorització de la glicèmia, etc. Mantécol·laboracions específi ques amb altresgrups de l’Institut Pere i Virgili, la Uni versitatde Michigan en Educació Terapèuti ca i el grupDEPLAN europeu.✓ La línia de prevenció de les malalties infecciosesha estat centrada en l’efectivitat dela vacuna antipneumoccò cica amb l’estudiEVAN, actualment també desenvolupen projectesen la vacuna antigripal, tests diagnòsticsde les infeccions prevalents, i antibiòtics.Manté col·laboracions amb el grup de malaltiesinfeccioses respiratòries de l’Hospital JoanXXIII.✓ La línia de nutrició està lligada a l’estudiPREDIMED, de prevenció del risc cardiovascular,amb estudis específi cs so bre dietamediterrània i diabetis, dieta me diterrània iosteoporosis, també en grups poblacionalscom projecte EDAL (prevenció de l’obesitatinfantil), i la malnutrició en la dependència. Esfa en col·laboració amb la Unitat de Nutricióde la URV.✓ La línia de respiratori porta endavant projectesde cribatge precoç de la MPOC, i fi sioteràpiarespiratòria.✓ La línia de comunitària porta estudis sobreprogrames comunitaris relacionats amb eltabac, la immigració i la dependència.✓ Totes les línies tenen projectes becats encon vocatòries competitives públiques.PublicacionsVILA A, OCHOA O, RODRÍGUEZ T.
