the Preclassic Horizon (2000 BC to 200 AD), the Classic<br />
Horizon (200 to 900 AD) and the Post-Classic Horizon<br />
(900 to 1521 AD), approximately.<br />
The present work consists in making known the Pre-Hispanic<br />
Sports that are currently practiced, their origin and importance<br />
in the Pre-Hispanic Culture and having a historical reference<br />
through Museums, books, archeology magazines, vestiges pyramids,<br />
sculptures, paintings, codices, In Pre-Hispanic Mexico and<br />
the entire territory comprised in Mesoamerica, the activities that<br />
provided food and defense were vital for survival..<br />
This tradition of long distance foot races was very present in the<br />
Pre-Hispanic games since, among other activities, the postal system<br />
was based on relays, in present-day Mexico this custom of<br />
distance races and resistance are still carried out in Tarahumara<br />
groups and Yaquis in northern Mexico today. It appears in the<br />
