OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
FUNCTION: HIGH/MEDIUM/LOW PRESSURE COOKING
1. Place food to be cooked into the removable cooking pot.
IMPORTANT: Do not fill the removable cooking pot higher than
Max line inside the cooking pot.
IMPORTANT: Do not exceed 8 cup line when pressure cooking
foods that expand such as rice, dried beans, grains and
legumes.
IMPORTANT: Add at least 1 cup (8 ounces) of liquid to the
removable cooking pot when cooking under pressure. You may
use water, broth, or juice, etc.
CAUTION: Never operate the appliance when it is empty.
Do not cook with food content below 1 cup line.
2. Make sure the cord is unplugged.
3. Check to see that the silicone gasket is attached properly to the
gasket holder and the gasket holder is contained within the grips
along inside of the lid. (See Care & Cleaning Instructions for
assembly details).
4. Place the lid on top of the base. Turn so that the pressure release
valve is at the “pressure” up position or “release” down position.
5. Holding the base handle firmly in one hand, firmly grasp the lid handle with the other hand
and rotate clockwise until the lid locks into place; the handle and the base handles will
be in perfect alignment. Follow the “close” arrow on the lid handle. (See Fig.6 & 7)
NOTE: Be sure the lid is assembled well. Incorrect lid assembly onto the unit will cause
the error “E3” to appear on the display.
