The records that were broken in 2011 by Liza Rabanes
opened our eyes to the new levels that are possible. She set
a new Personal Sales record for 2011 of $802,336, a new
District World record of $933,192 and a new First Generation
World record of $2,839,867! The incredible thing is she
has committed to having a 30% increase this year! Wow!
As we begin 2012 it is very clear that this is going to be
a year of great growth and tremendous accomplishments.
We experienced a strong January, and February is setting
the pace for an amazing first quarter. Yes, the Convention
created a renewed energy, passion and knowledge for our
business and has motivated our people to hit new heights.
The commitments we have received from many of you
show us your commitment to accomplishing more - to higher
personal sales figures and to sharing the opportunity and
developing strong new managers. This will be a major factor
in increasing our business substantially this year and having
a year of tremendous growth.
In addition this year we launched another amazing annual trip - a
cruise from Malaga, Spain through the Canary Islands - places we
have never visited before! I know everyone is motivated to be
part of this exciting trip. This is a trip you will not want to miss
because it will be a fantastic one!
I look forward to seeing you all in Spain and wish for you a
healthy and prosperous 2012!

From Mauritius, Chicago, Ecuador, Canada, Hawaii, Croatia, Puerto Rico and
more . . . the Carico family arrived in Fort Lauderdale to attend the Annu-
al convention full of enthusiasm and
anticipation. This year’s convention
promised to be one of learning and
sharing unlike any convention be-
fore. And everyone was ready! They
were ready to learn more about the
great products we have, to learn
how to sponsor more effectively, to
train and retain people and to help
more individuals to succeed.

Meetings
Our 2011 World Convention opened in a dramatic fashion with
the introduction of “Future Woman” who led us through Carico’s
history and the development of the phenomenal product line
that we have. An inspiring video followed showing the special
moments and memories we have shared through the years culminating
in the introduction of our leader and president, Mr.
Richard R. Cappadona, who set the tone for an inspiring and
educational convention.
The energy was right and everyone was there to learn, to become
better and get motivated!
The Convention was all about education with workshops offered
in English and Spanish on “Selling Big Ticket items” and
“Tax Preparation” - both of which were attended to full capacity.

Meetings
Our guest speaker, Omar Periu, did a great job teaching us about closing the
sale and showed several exercises for keeping yourself motivated and positive.
The group had a fun time, learning a lot and getting very motivated to put all
that they had learned into practice!
All too soon we came to our final day of speakers and they brought the Convention
to an incredible end. Our emcee Eddy Moya kept the energy high
introducing each person with warm stories and inspiring introductions. Liza
Rabanes, our Superstar, shared the secrets to her continued success, introducing
many of the top performers in her group, Christian Lesmez shared the stage
with the team from Ecuador, Gonzalo Zambrano, Jorge and Enrique Naula and
they told us of their plans for 2012 and what they had done to have such an
incredible 2011. Gerry Geroni was next and he motivated the room with his
commitment to being “all in” and taking his team to great heights. Manju Torres
followed this motivating team of performers sharing the importance of staying
committed to the plans we have for the year and dedicating 2012 to growth by
building strong relationships with the people we sponsor and manage.
Mr. Cappadona closed the Convention with an incredible,
motivating talk giving us the keys to accomplish our
dreams by forming winning habits and having clear goals
and plans! Yes this truly was a spectacular Convention!!!

It was the opportunity the attendees were anticipating all week. When the
buses arrived at Carico’s Headquarters, the attendees were welcomed by a local
marching band announcing their arrival. Carico’s volunteer team of experts
were ready and armed with the knowledge and techniques necessary to teach
new recruits and review those same techniques with seasoned Carico professionals.
While there was food and entertainment throughout the day, there was
serious learning at hand as well. In just a few short hours the participants were
offered the opportunity to learn from air and water experts, renew their enthusiasm
for the features and benefits of Carico’s healthy cooking techniques, obtain
a deeper understanding of the beneficial attributes of the Sleep System, as well
as the art of selling fine China and crystal. These product sessions, and many
more, were made possible by an enthusiastic team of Carico professionals, and
we tip our hat to all who lent their time and expertise!

The night was filled with Carico Champions who had climbed the mountain
and grabbed a star! Each one of our champions was recognized
and rewarded for their outstanding efforts. Amid roaring cheers and applause
the champions approached the stage to be personally congratulated
by Mr. Richard Cappadona for their outstanding accomplishments.
The winners left the stage with beautiful porcelain eagles, watches, pins
and plaques. But more importantly they left the stage with pride in
themselves and their groups for record-setting milestones, for reaching
the seemingly unattainable. They learned the true meaning of the verse,
“What can be perceived, can be achieved.” Congratulations to all our
Carico Champions!

With the setting sun and the shimmering Florida Intra-Coastal as a backdrop,
the participants set sail aboard the luxurious yacht, Lady Windridge. Even
Mother Nature cooperated by blanketing the group with a mild Florida evening.
After an ambitious day of sharing product knowledge and learning sales and
product techniques at Carico’s Headquarters, the group was ready for a night
of relaxation and fun.
As soon as the yacht left the dock the music started and the dining and dancing
began in earnest. As with most Carico events, the dance floor was never
empty. The group works very hard, but they also play hard when the time is
appropriate. When the Lady Windridge docked again at the Bahia Mar Marina,
everyone was exhausted from an action-packed day, but looking forward to
another day of uplifting meetings.
