Utilizando el Sistema de Información de Costos Eficientes para Transporte Automotor
de Carga SICE-TAC, teniendo como referencia un Tractocamión 2 Ejes, se identifica que
logísticamente, Pereira es mucho más competitivo frente a las ciudades analizadas, ya
que la relación por Kilómetro transportado a cada una de estas ciudades hace que la
posición geoestratégica de la ciudad sea privilegiada y, naturalmente, más ventajosa
para cualquier tipo de empresa que quiera emprender negocio en la región.

Las partidas arancelarias que presentaron dinámicas
positivas fueron aquellas relacionadas con desperdicios
y desechos de cobre, aparatos receptores de televisión y
aguacates que cerraron el año con aumentos de U$28,1
millones, U$15,5 millones y U$15,4 millones respectivamente.
Caso contrario se dio con el café, el papel y el azúcar que en
el consolidado del año cerraron con reducciones de U$85,6
millones, U$9,4 millones y U$5,4 millones.

Las exportaciones de Risaralda durante el 2021 llegaron a
83 países. China se posicionó como el segundo destino de
las ventas externas de Risaralda, explicado principalmente
por las exportaciones de desperdicios y desecho de cobre.
Situación distinta se da con Estados Unidos, principal destino
de las exportaciones del departamento, debido a la fuerte
reducción en las exportaciones de café hacia ese país.

Por partidas arancelarias, los mayores incrementos en las
importaciones del departamento se dieron en las correspondientes
a partes destinadas a aparatos receptores de
televisión como las pantallas led y las tarjetas con componente
impreso o de superficie, motocicletas, el café, pasta
química de madera, carne porcina y neumáticos.
El principal país de origen de las importaciones del departamento
fue China, explicado por el aumento en las importaciones
de partes de televisores, motocicletas y neumáticos.
Seguido de Brasil que presentó un aumento de U$45,8 millones
explicado por el café, automóviles de turismo y pasta
química de madera.

Harmonized Tariff Schedule showed the largest increases for imports in Risaralda were: spare parts destined
for T.V. sets such as led screens and chip cards with printed or surface component; motorcycles, coffee,

A estos países le siguió Estados Unidos donde los principales
productos fueron la carne porcina, el trigo y la carne de
aves y que junto con otras 345 partidas arancelarias alcanzaron
un total de U$65,0 millones.
Las motocicletas, neumáticos y vehículos de turismo posicionaron
a la India como el cuarto país de origen de las importaciones
risaraldenses con $44,8 millones seguido de
Chile donde la pasta química, las preparaciones alimenticias
y productos a base de cereales sumaron U$23,3 millones de
los U$25,7 millones que se importan desde ese país.
These countries were followed by the United States of America, where the main
imported products were pork, wheat, and poultry meat, which together with 345
other tariff items reached a total of USD$65.0 million.
Motorbikes, tires and tourism vehicles positioned India as the fourth country
from which the imports from Risaralda originated with a total amount of
USD$44.8 million; followed by Chile where chemical pulp, food preparations
and grain-based products amounted US$23.3 million of US$25.7 million which
are imported from such country.

Con el registro de las exportaciones para el año 2021 de
U$367,9 millones afectadas por la reducción en las ventas
externas de café y los U$662,0 millones en importaciones
(valores F.O.B) la balanza comercial del departamento de
Risaralda presentó un déficit de U$294,1millones.
Este resultado es
incluso mayor a la
cifra del año 2018
donde se tenía el
mayor déficit
histórico con
U$108,7
millones.
With the exports record for the year 2021 of USD$367.9 million affected by the
reduction in external sales of coffee and a total amount of USD $662.0 million
in imports (F.O.B1 values) the trade balance of the Province of Risaralda showed
a deficit of USD$294.1 million.
This outcome is
even higher than
the one obtained
on the year 2018,
when the Province
had the highest
historical deficit of
USD$108.7
million.

uno de los principales nodos de operaciones logísticas de Colombia, plantea 24,4 mil
hectáreas para la localización de actividades logísticas, dentro de las cuales Pereira
participa con 7.000 (28.7%).
Logistics system, in the geographical environment of Pereira and its area of influence (municipalities of Valley
of Risaralda), which projects platforms and infrastructures to optimize the exchange of goods and services with
national and international markets.
Pereira contemplates a new logistics and industrial corridor of 300 meters wide by 13.8 km in length, equivalent
to 1,045 hectares in front of the Cauca River, connected to the Cerritos-Cartago and Cerritos-La Virginia corridors.
This project would be one of the main nodes of logistics operations in Colombia, it raises 24.4 thousand hectares
for the location of logistics activities, within which Pereira participates with 7,000 (28.7%).

AVENIDA DE LOS COLIBRÍES: el Gobierno de Pereira invirtió en este proyecto para
fortalecer el desarrollo vial frente al crecimiento que viene presentando la ciudad en
el sector de Cerritos.
INTEGRACIÓN AEROPUERTO INTERNACIONAL MATECAÑA- AEROPUERTO SANTA
ANA DE CARTAGO: con el crecimiento aumento de pasajeros que se transportan
desde el aeropuerto de Pereira y la incipiente necesidad de las empresas de contar
con un aeropuerto de carga como dinamizador de la economía y de la competitividad
regional, la Alcaldía de Pereira ha avanzado en diálogos para la integración de ambos
aeropuertos.
SAMÁN WAYS: After taking into account the economic development that Pereira and Risaralda have had in recent
years, the government of the Province reached an agreement with the entities controlling the tolls, so that the
Cerritos toll collection would go to the double carriageway of the highway Pereira-La Virginia.

La ZFIP representa para las empresas instaladas, beneficios aduaneros como nacionalización
parcial de mercancías; almacenamiento por tiempo ilimitado y procesamiento
parcial en el territorio colombiano. A su vez, el goce de beneficios tributarios como
tarifa de renta disminuida sobre ventas de exportación, exención del IVA en las compras
para el desarrollo del proceso productivo, no pago de tributos aduaneros para las

humano y diversidad económica.
The ZFIP represents for installed companies, customs benefits such as partial nationalization of
merchandise; unlimited time storage and partial processing in Colombian territory. As well as the
enjoyment of tax benefits such as reduced income rate on export sales, V.A.T. exemption on purchases for
the development of the production process, non-payment of customs duties for raw materials subject to
transformation in a free zone and subsequent export. Along with these advantages, two local incentives
are added: 100% exemption from property tax for five years and 100% exemption from ICA tax for ten years.
