UNIDAD III: BALANCE GENERALDefinición del Balance GeneralESTADO DE SITUACION FINANCIERA O BALANCE GENERALEl Estado de Situación Financiera o Balance General es un estado financieroque muestra el monto del activo, pasivo y capital en una fecha especifica,en otras palabras, dicho estado financiero muestra los recursosque posee el negocio (activo), a lo que debe (pasivo) y el capital aportadopor los socios o dueños.Importancia del Balance GeneralEl Estado de Situación Financiera, también conocido como Balance General,presenta en el mismo reporte la información necesaria para tomardecisiones en las áreas de inversión y de financiamiento. Dicho estadoincluye en el mismo informe ambos aspectos, porque parte de las ideasde que los recursos con que cuenta el negocio deben estar correspondidosdirectamente con las fuentes necesarias para adquirirlos.FORMULA DEL BALANCE:El balance esta formado por el activo que son los bienes o inversionesque tiene la organización, pasivo son las deudas u obligaciones y el capitalo sea los dueños.
