In this issue, we start our wonderful journey
of discovery on the far corners of the
world. First step is a cruise on the amazing
Viking expedition ship the Polaris to the
“End of the World”. While there, we take
another cruise, this one with a twist, a fly in/fly
out excursion with Quark Expedition. Still in
the south, we take yet another cruise with
Variety Cruises to discover the tropical beauty
of the Society Islands. Next, we head to the
‘land down under’ to see the best that
Australia has to offer.
Due north, in Asia, we delight our international
foodie selves by savouring the best
international delicacies. In Japan we
would experience, ‘The Spiritual World
of Wakayama’, visit the tranquil
Ishigaki Island and then try to fulfill our
“bucket list in Japan”. Too the far east
of Asia, we find the top 10 reasons to
visit the incredible Dubai. Nearby, we find the
“Colorful Slices” and iconic places of Jordan.
In Turkey, we discover the best cycling routes
and why this country is one of the worlds most
visited destinations.
Now in Europe, we embark on a beautiful
Italian train ride to stay at some of the country’s
best hotels and then shop for Italy’s finest
fashions. In Malta, we partake in the wonderful
art scene of the “Inaugural Edition of
Maltabiennale.art 2024”. In the Iberian
Peninsula, we visit the historic and well-kept
Spanish cities of Cuenca and Toledo, visit the
worldly cosmopolitan capitol Madrid, and
plan a Castilla-La Mancha wine tour before
heading to Portugal to enjoy “Delights and
Discoveries” of this wonderful friendly nation.
Then to the north where we find “Germany’s
Old Towns with UNESCO World Heritage
Status”.
Next, we jet-off to North America and start
with an Adventure Canada cruise to experience
the best of Newfoundland and Labrador.
In Montreal, we head to the exciting AURA
show at the Notre Dame Basilica. In the
USA, we find the best the southern
states have to offer then west to find
“What’s New in Utah”. In California,
we take a road trip through the High
Sierra and visit the amazing Tuolumne
County before heading on a relaxing
cruise with Princess from San Diego to
Mexico. While in Mexico, we take yet another
sailing, this time with UnCruise Adventures
through Baja California Sur to find it is truly
the “Aquarium of the World” before heading
to see “a different Mexico” in the state of
Chihuahua. We finish off this worldwide
odyssey in the lush islands of the Caribbean
and all they have to offer the traveler.
