To pause briefly, insert the floor nozzle
into the parking holder from above (fig. 7).
Do not leave the vacuum cleaner unattended
while it is switched on.

a) Switch the appliance off.
b) Remove the power plug from the socket.
c) With your foot or your hand, press the key ( ),
to retract the cable.

a) Store your vacuum cleaner in an upright
position.
b) Insert the hook on the floor nozzle into the
mounting of the housing (fig. 9).

Change the dust bag when the dust level
indicator shows full (fig. 10).

a) Press the unlock key and swing the lid of the
dust compartment open until it locks into
position (fig. 11).

b) Close the filter bag by pulling the strap, which
effectively seals the full paper filter (fig. 12).
c) Remove the filter bridge using the carrying
lever and dispose of the paper filter by pulling
on the cardboard disk to remove the filter bag
(fig. 12).

d) Insert a new paper filter into the filter bridge
(see diagram on filter) (fig. 13).

Make sure that the air intake opening of the
paper filter is not closed.
Do not damage the filter paper when inserting
the filter!
e) Close the lid of the dust compartment.
CaUtION! The filter lock prevents the lid
of the dust compartment from being closed
without a paper filter.
Dust bags are disposable items. they must
not be re-used several times because clogged
pores will reduce performance.
How to check:
Attach the floor nozzle. All other nozzles will
affect the function of the dust bag exchange
indicator.
Switch on the vacuum cleaner and set the
vacuum power control to full cleaning power.

Lift the floor nozzle a little off the floor. If
the dust bag exchange indicator now shows
that the dust bag is full, you need to change
the bag.
Important information on the function of the
dust bag exchange indicator:
The indicator is set for mixed dust, which commonly
occurs in households (e.g. dust, hair,
carpet fibers, threads, sand).
However, if you vacuum up a lot of fine dust
(e.g. drilling dust, sand, gypsum or flour), the
pores will get clogged. In this case, the dust
bag exchange indicator will display "full", even
though the dust bag may not yet be completely
full. The dust bag must be exchanged
in this case because the clogged pores will
reduce the cleaning performance.
If you vacuum up a lot of hairs or fibers from a
carpet, wool etc., the dust bag exchange indicator
will only read full when the bag has been
packed full.
2. CHaNGING MOtOr PrOteCtION FIlter
Check the motor protection filter every time you
change the paper filter bag. Replace it if it is very
dirty.
Once the filter bag has been removed, the motor
protection filter is visible on the right side of the
filter compartment's back wall.
Always change the motor protection filter if you
have used the vacuum cleaner with a leaky paper
filter bag.
Do not operate the vacuum cleaner without a
motor protection filter!
The motor protection filter is a sanitary micro
filter which is located in the dust compartment.
Open the grid by pulling forward as indicated
by the arrow (fig. 14).
Change the sanitary micro filter.
Caution: Do not use the appliance without a
motor protection filter.
recommendation: Change the motor protection
filter every fifth time you replace the dust
bag.
