the nature, manner, subjects, benefits and dif ficulties of this most uplifting form of personal devotion.
• Learning the Art of Meditation II
Dr James White - Director of Alpha and Omega Ministries (USA), specialising in apologetics and reformed theology. He is author
of twenty books, including the highly regarded Justification by Faith
Theme: Apologetics
• The Da Vinci Code - The novel The Da Vinci Code has secured a phenomenal circulation of 40 million copies, and is being
produced as a major movie. With the imposition of so much misrepresentation of Christianity and fiction on the basic facts
of the work of Christ, the understanding of countless people will inevitably be distorted and conditioned. Dr White will show
the main dangers and the contrasting facts of faith which will need to be explained and proved to a society which is having
potential respect for an historical Gospel destroyed.
• Deity of Christ - Dr White will expound key texts on the Deity of Christ, also making reference to the modalism stealing
into evangelical circles.
Dr Paul Cameron - Chairman of the Family Research Institute, USA
Theme: Social Policy
• Upholding Morality I - Dr Paul Cameron is chairman of the Family Research Institute in Colorado Springs, USA, a
Christian organisation founded in 1982 to gather and present empirical information and statistics about family matters, most
particularly on homosexuality. Dr Cameron has contributed numerous papers drawing from medical research and off icial
statistics to show the ¬overwhelming evidence demonstrating the dangers of homosexual practice. His papers are published
in serious scientific journals and indexed in PubMed, having the status of scientific literature. The Family Research Institute
makes such research available to assist church ministers and public legislators alike, so that people may be delivered from
one of the most dangerous and harmful trends of our time. In two ‘popular’ addresses Dr Cameron will present facts drawn
from prestigious scientific surveys that contradict the claims of the gay lobby, the spurious assumptions of most
politicians, and increasingly the general public, about the homosexual lifestyle. He will point out the serious health and
behavioural problems, and also address issues such as homosexual marriage and foster parenting.
• Upholding Morality II
Dr Peter Masters - Pastor of the Metropolitan Tabernacle, London
Theme: Bible Study & Evangelism
• The Alphabet of the Spiritual Life I - Psalm 119 is almost a Bible in itself, combining magnificent views of God, of human
nature, and of grace. At one time commonly learned by heart it extols the Word and shows believers how to respond to
virtually every situation they are likely to face in life. It provides a model for adoration, submission and repentance, giving
counsel for witness, assurance, worship, prayer and the spiritual warfare. Throughout, it constantly stirs love and zeal in the
heart. To unlock the method and riches of this unique and most remarkable psalm, Dr Masters will present (in self-contained
addresses) four of its eight-verse sections, showing how the special theme of each may be identified, and applying these
for encouragement and advance in the spiritual life.
• The Alphabet of the Spiritual Life II
• The Alphabet of the Spiritual Life III
• The Alphabet of the Spiritual Life IV
• Regeneration and Conversion - Effective, persuasive exhortations to seek salvation have been hindered and almost
eclipsed in many reformed pulpits because a flawed view has become popular - 'passive regeneration'. Out of step with
mainline, historic Calvinism this theory has become a standard view, and is probably the most inhibiting factor for
evangelism today. In a single address Dr Masters will promote the traditional view, demonstrating that this alone represents
true Calvinism, leading to fervent evangelistic preaching.
Rev W Vernon Higham - Pastor Emeritus of the Tabernacle, Heath Park, Cardiff
Theme: Personal Holiness
• Pastoral Purity - We cannot expect the Holy Spirit to use unclean instruments, and the exhortation of 1 Timothy 4.12
establishes a standard for all ministers and Christian workers. This address will urge upon all the paramount duty of striving
for personal sanctification as the essential prerequisite to real usefulness in the service of the Lord.
Pastor Jack Seaton - Pastor Emeritus of Inverness Reformed Baptist Church
Theme: Devotional
• Divine Reconciliation I - Paul's letter to Philemon presents a classic case of offence and reconciliation, with abiding
practical lessons. But the letter undoubtedly has an even higher purpose, serving as a pattern of divine reconciliation,
illustrating profound aspects of salvation to stimulate deep thought and appreciation in believers.
• Divine Reconciliation II
Pastor Chris Hand - Pastor of Crich Baptist Church, Derbyshire
Theme: Warning Ministry
• The Emerging Church I - Pastor Chris Hand A new and rapidly expanding movement called 'the emerging church' is
influencing churches seeking younger people, and also those disillusioned with charismatic ways. However, it jettisons
commitment to Truth in favour of relationships and gimmickry. In two addresses Pastor Chris Hand will point out its major
errors, contrasting these with the values and power of the Great Commission of Christ.
• The Emerging Church II
Pastor Ibrahim ag Mohamed
• Interval Session: The Gospel in Mali - Pastor Ibrahim ag Mohamed serves in Gao, second city of Mali, in sub-Saharan
Africa, a place of desert, camels, and nearby famous Timbuktu. Although a Moslem stronghold, the Lord has worked
amazingly in opening the way to broadcast each week on f ive regional radio channels. Pastor Ibrahim will review the
conditions and the blessings of his growing congregation, Bible School, branch outposts and compassionate work.
Pastor Nicolae ('Miki') Chiciudean & Pastor Jan Sichula
• Interval Session: Romania & Slovakia - Pastor Nicolae ('Miki') Chiciudean is pioneering in Arad, Romania, near the
Hungarian border, looking after two congregations and, with an assistant, ministering in both Hungarian and Romanian.
Pastor Chiciudean also translates and produces literature, and has recently acquired premises for a chapel. He will review
the Lord’s work and the possibilities that lie ahead.
Pastor Jan Sichula is pioneering in Bratislava, capital of Slovakia, and also translating and producing literature. He will describe
his evangelistic endeavours and his hopes for the spread of reformed convictions in Slovakia.
