OPÉRATION / OPERATION
It is strongly recommended to lower the air suspension of the vehicle before loading or
unloading a container.
If you must backup the container on the roll-off system, either to offload it to a dock or to back
it up towards the hinge before raising the chassis, use the backup post built-in to the cable's
buggy.
It is recommended to never raise the chassis without having the load positioned over the
hinge. This will increase the stability of the system and reduce the chance of having an
accident.
LOADING OF A CONTAINER
Step 1 a) Raise the roll-off system’s frame.
b) Extend the rear extension (if present).
c) Backup truck aligning it such that the roll-off frame is inside the support tubes
of the container and that it is in line with the container.
d) Let out the rope and place the tow ring on the containers hook.
Step 2 a) Start raising the container on the frame by pulling on the rope.
b) Check that the container’s guide rollers are on top of the frame and that the
container can be raise without interference.
Step 3 a) Lower the frame such that it will line up with the base of the container.
Step 4 a) Backup the truck, or let the truck slide under the container while pulling on the
rope to raise the container.
b) Check that the frame always stays in line with the base of the container.
Step 5 a) Pull on the container until it seats up against the stoppers on the frame.
Note: In order to properly distribute the load on the frame, you can use the
extra removable stoppers by inserting them in the provided holes of the
frame.
If for any reason it is impossible to use the fixed or the removable
stoppers, an extra front stowing system must necessarily be used (ex.
chains). The capacity of this system (ex. chain capacity) must be 50%
of the total mass of the container and load. (total mass of container-load
not to exceed the indicated load of the roll-off system)
Step 6 a) Install the rear safety straps to secure the container vertically to the frame.
b) If necessary retract the rear extension.
Step 7 a) Raise the tarp roller support.
b) Let out the tarp on top of the container.
Step 8 a) Lower the tarp support to bind up the tarp.
