SMI and its Austrian partner, Wintertechnik Engineering, have developed a close<br />
relationship with the Schulz Group, one of the largest ski resort owners in Austria.<br />
The Schulz Group has added over 120 SMI fan snowmakers since 2007, experiencing<br />
excellent success with Super Wizzard (Gigastar) and Super PoleCat fully automatic<br />
designs at resorts such as Kals-Matrei, Sillian Hochpustertal, Ankogel Mallnitz and<br />
Hochzillertal - Kaltenbach.<br />
Kals-Matrei has over 110 km of alpine trails, featuring spectacular views of 60<br />
mountain peaks more than 3,000 meters tall. The snowmaking system at Kals-Matrei<br />
is served by 400+ hydrants with more than 30,000 meters of cast iron pipe for<br />
water distribution.<br />
Technical Director Rudi Hirschhuber comments: “We are very pleased with the -2.5<br />
°C start-up temperature and excellent flow rates through the machines. We can now<br />
cover our main pistes in 70 hours of snowmaking. Once again, SMI and Wintertechnik<br />
have delivered as promised.”<br />

La société SMI et son partenaire autrichien, Wintertechnik Engineering travaillent<br />
en étroite collaboration avec le groupe Schulz, groupe reconnu comme l’un des plus<br />
grands exploitants de stations de ski en Autriche. Depuis 2007 ce dernier a investi dans<br />
plus de 120 enneigeurs SMI et a obtenu d’excellents résultats avec les modèles automatiques<br />
Super Wizzard (Gigastar) et Super PoleCat, sur les domaines de Kals-Matrei,<br />
Sillian Hochpustertal, Ankogel, Mallnitz et Hochzillertal - Kaltenbach.<br />
La station de Kals-Matrei offre 110 kms de pistes de ski alpin, avec une vue splendide<br />
sur 60 sommets de plus de 3.000 mètres. Kals-Matrei bénéficie d’une importante<br />
installation de Neige de Culture avec ses 400 vannes hydrantes et ses 30.000 mètres de<br />
tuyaux en fonte ductile pour l’approvisionnement en eau.<br />
Selon le directeur technique Rudi Hirschhuber « nous sommes très contents de pouvoir<br />
démarrer à -2.5 °C et ces machines nous procurent d’excellents rendements. Nous<br />
arrivons à enneiger nos pistes principales en 70 heures de fonctionnement. Encore une<br />
fois, SMI et Wintertechnik ont respecté leurs engagements. »
