Mode Selection
When the [MODE] button is pressed for less
than 1.7 sec, the mode will switch in following
order:
FM1 → FM2 → FM3 → CD → CD CH → AM
→ DAB → FM1
When the [MODE] button is pressed
continuously for more than 1.7 sec, the power
of the radio will be switched off.
Troubleshooting
Preset Station
Switching
Press button [ ] to switch to the next preset
station.
Press [ ] to switch to the previous preset
station.
If you suspect something is wrong with your
DAB tuner, check and take steps as described
below.
If the described suggestions do not solve the
problem, it is recommended to take the unit to
your nearest Toyota retailer.
Problem
Noise / reduced sensitivity.
Unable to receive in auto
mode.
Possible cause
A mobile phone is used
nearby.
No Service Station stored on
the Service List.
Possible solution
If you are going to use a
mobile phone, move away
from the unit.
Activate Auto Tuning by briefly
pressing AST, then update the
Service List by pressing the
AST Button more than 1.7 sec.
No signal.
Automatic fading in and out
of the volume.
Antenna amplifier is not
installed correctly.
No Service is available.
DAB signal is too weak.
DAB signal is weak. This may
occur in tunnels, buildings,
under bridges etc., or if you
are too far away from an
emitting antenna.
Check if the antenna amplifier
is correctly connected to the
antenna film.
Check if DAB is available in
your area.
Press [AST] button to activate
the automatic tuning.
Change to different Ensemble.
Wait until your vehicle reaches
a location with a stronger signal.
Change to different Ensemble.
Move the vehicle to an
unenclosed area.
Wait until the vehicle reaches
a location with a stronger
signal.
