CIK-FIA TO PRESENT NEW GENERATION OF KARTING ENGINES
Luigi Macaluso, President of the CIK-FIA, will present the new technical regulations of the CIK-
FIA for Karting engines which will be introduced from this 2007 Championship season.
With these new engines, the CIK-FIA is aiming to reduce costs, ensure greater reliability, reduce
environmental impact and facilitate better access to the sport of Karting.

What
Presentation of the CIK-FIA Technical Regulations requirements for the new “long life” Karting
engines, and of the philosophy that guided such a radical change. Presentation to be conducted
in the presence of most of the manufacturers having homologated engines, and to be followed by
on-track demonstrations.
Accreditation
Applications for accreditation must be sent by fax to the CIK-FIA Administration (+41 22 306 10
90) on the official letterhead paper of the publication or other medium applying for accreditation.
Applications for accreditation must reach the CIK-FIA before Monday, January 29, 17.30 hrs
(CET).

LA CIK-FIA PRÉSENTE LA NOUVELLE GÉNÉRATION DE MOTEURS DE KARTING
Luigi Macaluso, Président de la CIK-FIA, présentera les nouvelles règles techniques de la CIK-FIA

Présentation des caractéristiques du Règlement Technique CIK-FIA pour les nouveaux moteurs de
Karting « longue durée », ainsi que de la philosophie ayant guidé ce changement radical. La
présentation se fera en présence de la plupart des constructeurs ayant homologué ces moteurs et
sera suivie de démonstrations sur la piste.
Accréditations
Toute demande d’accréditation doit être adressée par fax à l’Administration de la CIK-FIA (+41 22
306 10 90) sur papier à en-tête officiel de la publication ou de l’organe faisant la demande
d’accréditation.
Les demandes d’accréditations doivent parvenir à la CIK-FIA au plus tard le lundi 29 janvier à
17h30 (heure d’Europe centrale).
