Lauréat du concours [re]connaissance 2011<br />
Daniel Linehan a été danseur et chorégraphe<br />
à New-York pendant 4 ans. Il<br />
vit désormais à Bruxelles, où il a rejoint<br />
la formation PARTS. Comme danseur,<br />
il a notamment travaillé avec Miguel<br />
Gutierrez et le Big Art Group, Mark<br />
Haim et Wil Swanson. Il collabore avec<br />
Michael Helland pour de nombreux<br />
duos, présentés à New York, Philadelphie,<br />
Montréal. En 2007-2008, il<br />
fait partie du Movement Research<br />
Artist-in-Residence. <strong>Le</strong> travail chorégraphique<br />
de Daniel Linehan est une<br />
tentative d’effacement de la frontière<br />
qui sépare la danse de tout le reste.<br />
Parmi ses pièces, on citera Not About<br />
Everything (2007) qui le fera connaître<br />
auprès du public français, Montage for<br />
Three (2009), Zombie Aporia (2011).<br />
