Il sepassionne pour l’architecture et la capacité de transformation des matières. Il crée desœuvres originales, délicates et pleines de poésie. Rotontodo est une coupe hélicoïdale,minutieusement striée, ouverte jusqu’au centre par une franche rupture. Dans la lumière,cette fine texture concentrique s’exprime tel un vitrail dont le dessin aérien pourrait évoquerle tournoiement d’une graine d’érable. La collection Cosmos est le symbole d’une natureréinventée, d’une fleur aux pétales imaginaires et légers.FRENCH DESIGNERIn 1999 Jean-Baptiste Sibertin-Blanc joined Daum as Director of Creation. He has a passionfor architecture and the transformation capacity of materials. He creates original, delicateworks full of poetry. Rototondo is a helicoid cup, meticulously streaked, opened rightthrough to the centre by a clear break. In the light, this fine concentric texture expressesitself like a stained glass window which airy design evokes the whirling of a sycamore seed.The Cosmos collection symbolises reinvented nature; a flower with imaginary, light petals.
