GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Unit Frame.
Aluminium sections, with aluminium
corner joints and steel closing panel:
painted with baked-on epoxy-polyester
powder, RAL 7035 colour.
Internally soundproofed with a soundabsorbing
mat, self-extinguishing (F1 class).
Filters
With EU4 filtering efficiency, housed in a
galvanized steel shell.
Post-heating (CH and HH versions).
With electric heaters fitted with safety
thermostat .
Humidification (HH versions).
With electrodes submerged in untreated
supply water.
Centrifugal fans.
- directly coupled to electric motors
(mod. 100 to 230);
- with V-belt transmisison and pulleys
coupled to 4-pole electric motors,
(from mod. 260);
mounted on rubber vibration dampers.
Differential pressure switch for air flow
detection.
Electrical panel
With main switch, contactors, power
and control circuit protection, phase
sequence relay. Microprocessor-controlled
unit with function display mode.
Direct expansion unit (*ED).
In addition to the features listed in the
general description, the *ED* units
include: hermetic, scroll type compressors
(400/3/50) fitted with thermal
overload cutout , crankcase heater and
rubber vibration dampers.
Refrigerant circuit with sight glass,
drier filter, thermostatic expansion valve,
liquid receiver, solenoid valve on liquid
line (Mod. *EDA only), high/low pressure
switches, charging connection, liquid
line shut-off valves for external connections,
safety device.
Air treatment coil made of copper
tubes and aluminium fins fitted with a
stainless steel condensate drain pan.
Condensers:
- remote: CRAX and/or CRCF for air condensing
units (supplied as optional)
- included: braze-welded plate construction
type for water condensing units.
Charge
Units are factory tested and supplied
with refrigerant charge and oil charge.
Water chillers (*FC).
In addition to the features listed in the
general description, *FC units include a
cooling coil with copper tubes and
aluminium fins, fitted with stainless
steel condensate drain pan and 3-way
floating valve ( three points).

OEDA-UEDA: remote air-cooled condenser

OEDW-UEDW: built-in (well) water

OEDR-UEDR: built-in (tower) water

flow (OVER);
UEDA-UEDW-UEDR-UFC: downward
air flow (UNDER).
AVAILABLE LAYOUTS
Unit with DX layout.
Can be connected to ALFA LE units.
They have no compressor/s, relative
electric contactors or safety pressure
switches.
Units with Dual Cooling layout.
Compared with the *ED* units, an
extra water-cooled coil is fitted,
together with a 3-way modulating
valve, flow switch and temperature
probe.
Units with RP layout.
OVER units with a rear inlet instead of
a front one.
