[ LCD save ]<br />
■ If you set the [LCD save] to On and the camera isn't operated during the<br />
specified time, the LCD monitor will be turned off automatically.<br />
● [LCD save] sub menu<br />
[Off]: The LCD monitor will not be turned off.<br />
[On]: If you select the [LCD Save] and the camera<br />
isn't operated during the specified time(about<br />
30 S<strong>EC</strong>.), the camera power will be idle(LCD<br />
monitor : OFF, Camera status lamp :<br />
Blinking) automatically. To use the camera<br />
again, press any of the camera buttons<br />
except the power button.<br />

■ The Movie output signal from the camera can be NTSC or PAL.<br />
Your choice of output will be governed by the type of <strong>de</strong>vice (monitor or TV,<br />
etc.) to which the camera is connected. PAL mo<strong>de</strong> can support only BDGHI.<br />
■ Connecting to an external monitor<br />
● When the camera is connected to an external<br />
monitor in the recording mo<strong>de</strong> or play back mo<strong>de</strong>,<br />
the image (movie or still image) will be visible on<br />
the external monitor and the LCD monitor of the<br />
camera turns off.<br />
