- Always check the device befo<strong>re</strong> you use it. Do<br />
not use the device or adapter if it is damaged.<br />
Always <strong>re</strong>place a damaged part with one of the<br />
original type.<br />
- The adapter contains a transformer. Do not cut<br />
off the adapter to <strong>re</strong>place it with another plug, as<br />
this causes a hazardous situation.<br />
- Do not use the device if the UV filter of the light<br />
exit window is broken.<br />
- Do not use the p<strong>re</strong>cision attachment if its filter is<br />
broken.<br />
To p<strong>re</strong>vent damage<br />
- Make su<strong>re</strong> nothing obstructs the airflow through<br />
the ventilation slots.<br />
- Never subject the device to heavy shocks and<br />
do not shake or drop it.<br />
- If you take the device from a very cold<br />
environment to a very warm environment and<br />
vice versa, wait approximately 3 hours befo<strong>re</strong><br />
you use it.<br />
- Do not flash against any other surface than the<br />
skin. This can cause seve<strong>re</strong> damage to the<br />
attachment and/or the light exit window. Only<br />
flash when the device is in contact with skin.<br />
Caution<br />
- This device is not washable. Never immerse the<br />
device in water and do not rinse it under the tap.<br />
- For hygienic <strong>re</strong>asons, the device should only be<br />
used by one person.<br />
- Use the device only at settings suitable for your<br />
skin type. Use at higher settings than those<br />
<strong>re</strong>commended can inc<strong>re</strong>ase the risk of skin<br />
<strong>re</strong>actions and side effects.
