Living the<br />
Bogotazo<br />
In the context of the international book fair, the<br />
Bogotá City Hall installed a timeline about the<br />
history of the city. One of the most important<br />
events of the chronology occurred in the 40s when<br />
an opposition leader was killed, unleashing a<br />
revolt that destroyed a significant area in the town.<br />
To illustrate this event called "El Bogotazo", we<br />
designed an experience for travelling back to that<br />
time. The time machine is an antique telephone<br />
which rings when a user is approached it. If the<br />
speaker is raised, a recovered audio of the local<br />
radio is heard telling in real time how this event<br />
happened.<br />
