Situé à la limite sud de la commune, ce très
ancien château est resté pendant plusieurs
siècles dans le patrimoine de la famille
d'Agès. Ce sont de riches bourgeois qui ont
restauré le château de Thouars, largement
endommagé par le temps et la Révolution. Il
est partiellement reconstruit dans les styles
néo-médiéval et néo-classique et il est doté
d'un parc, acquis par la ville en 1957. Le
château est devenu le lieu privilégié des
manifestations de prestige de la ville, ainsi
que les réceptions de mariage.
Located in the south of Bordeaux, this very
old castle has remained for several centuries
in the heritage of the Agès family. This rich
bourgeois family have restored the castle of
Thouars, largely damaged by time and the
Revolution. It Modèle, is partially Gemma rebuilt Hernandez in neomedieval
and neo-classical styles and has a
park, acquired by the city in 1957. The castle
has become the privileged place for
prestigious events of the city, including
wedding receptions.
