arum setzen wir Edelstahl ein, obwohl das Material
und die Produktion so kostenintensiv sind? -
Edelstahl hat große Vorteile gegenüber dem norma-
len Stahl. Besonders in Küstenregionen, wo normale Ketten
manchmal schon in den Läden leicht Rost ansetzen, kommen
Edelstahlketten voll zum Einsatz. Außerdem gibt es viele
Hunde, die verrückt nach Wasser sind oder beruflich und privat
permanenten Kontakt mit Feuchtigkeit haben, wie z.B.
Jagdhunde oder Schutzhunde bei der Polizei. Ketten aus normalem
Stahl werden stumpf und matt, wenn sie mit Wasser,
insbesondere mit Salzwasser, in Berührung kommen. Die
Beschichtung wird angegriffen und die Kette beginnt zu rosten.
- Das kann bei einer Edelstahlkette nicht passieren.
Zusätzlich haben Sie den Vorteil der noch höheren Bruchlast,
die Hund und Halter eine sehr hohe Sicherheit gibt und die
Lebensdauer dieser Kette entsprechend verlängert.
Möglicherweise denken Sie jetzt, dass Sie dann weniger
Ketten verkaufen werden. Aber denken Sie nicht, dass dadurch
Ihre Geschäfte schlechter werden. Nein, ganz im
Gegenteil, denn die rostfreien Ketten sind viel teurer und Sie
können mit gleicher Arbeit mehr Geld verdienen. – Sie erkennen
die Sprenger Ketten aus rostfreiem Edelstahl an dem
Metallplättchen mit leuchtend rotem Punkt und unserem
geschützten HS-Germany und der entsprechenden
Stempelung auf den Ringen.
W
hy do we use stainless steel although the material
and the production are so expensive? Stainless steel
has large advantages against the normal steel espe-
cially in coastal areas where steel chains will become slightly
rusty already in the shops.
There are also a large number of dogs which are crazy for water.
Furthermore there are dog groups which are permanently in
contact with wetness, e.g. the hunting dogs and the dogs working
for the police. Chains made of normal steel will become dull after
contact with wetness. Especially salt water will roughen the plating
layer with the result that the chain gets rusty.
This cannot happen with stainless steel. Additionally you have the
advantage of better breaking load which will give you even a higher
security and a long lifespan. Probably you will say that you will
sell not so much chains if those have a longer life. But don’t think
that your businesses will become worse. No, it will be the reverse
as stainless steel is much more expensive and you can earn more
money with less work as you will have more free time to sell some
further articles. All Sprenger stainless steel chains are marked with
the metal label and the shiny red point marked with our protected
HS-Germany. Furthermore all rings are correspondingly stamped.

ourquoi travaillons nous l’acier inoxydable alors que les prix
de la matière et de la fabrication sont si coûteux?
L’acier inoxydable a de gros avantages par rapport à l’acier
normal.Tout particulièrement dans les régions du bord de mer où,
parfois, les chaînes commencent déjà à rouiller en magasin.
D’autre part, bon nombre de chiens sont « fous de l’eau » ou sont
tout simplement très souvent en contact avec l’humidité comme
par exemple les chiens de chasse, de garde ou de sauvetage
(dans la police par ex.). Les chaînes en acier normal deviennent
vite très mates lorsqu’elles sont en contact avec l’humidité, en
particulier l’air marin. Par le frottement à l’intérieur des maillons,
une usure se produit et la chaîne commence à rouiller. Cela ne peut
pas se produire avec l’acier inoxydable. En plus, vous avez l’avantage
d’une plus grande solidité et donc plus de sécurité pour le
chien et son maître et enfin une durée de vie beaucoup plus grande
puisque pas d’usure. Vous allez certainement penser que, du
fait que la chaîne a une plus grande durée de vie, vous allez en
vendre moins et faire moins d’affaire. Non, au contraire, puisque
l’acier inoxydable est beaucoup plus cher et que vous gagnez autant
et même plus puisque, avec le temps gagné, vous pouvez
vous occuper d’autres produits.
On peut reconnaître la chaîne en acier inoxydable de chez
Sprenger grâce au pendentif métallique avec le point rouge marqué
HS (protégé par la loi) et grâce aux anneaux por tant tous la
marque HS-Germany.

Achtung: Messing ist weicher als Stahl! Es findet ein permanenter Abrieb in den Kettengliedern statt, der je nach Kraft
und Ziehen des Hundes unterschiedlich schnell voranschreitet. Eine Messingkette sollte daher regelmäßig kontrolliert und
rechtzeitig ersetzt werden!!
Attention: Brass is softer than steel! Variably progressing abrasion inside the chain links depending on the power
of the dog! A brass chain has to be inspected regularly and replaced early enough!!
Attention: Le laiton est plus souple que l’acier! Usure permanente au niveau des mailles plus ou moins accentuée suivant la force du chien.
Il est conseillé de contrôler régulièrement une chaîne en laiton et de la remplacer à temps.
