Listening to the movements from my bones, outward through my body gives me a solid, concrete feeling of how my feet,
legs, truck and arms need to be so I am moving efficiently. A lot of what I am doing in my daily routine keeps reminding
me of how I moved from training in Kenpo Karate to learning and training in Baguazhng kung fu. Everything is about
refining that connection inside and then moving outside.
Self Pro Krav and Baguazhang have the same end goals. To deal with a violent situation in the most efficient and practical
way possible. I find the breakdown of the movements of Self Pro Krav helps me to understand my Baguazhang more, and
to look at the details of SPK as a movement art of self defense with greater and greater appreciation.
While very different in outward appearance, Self Pro Krav and Baguazhang share an incredible amount of parallels and
connections. It is with profound gratitude.
I find myself relearning my own arts as I review the movements of SPK.
