Ejector Pins<br />
During plastic injection molding and die<br />
casting operations, no other single mold or die<br />
component takes the beating ejector pins take.<br />
They’re always on the move. Always fighting<br />
friction. Thermal stress. Mechanical stress. And<br />
therefore, they’re always in danger of galling,<br />
seizing, bending or breaking if they’re not made<br />
of high quality steel with uniform strength - if<br />
they’re not hot-forged properly - or if they’re<br />
not nitrided to exact specifications for case<br />
depth and hardness. Heads annealed for easy<br />

Ejector Sleeves<br />
D-M-E ejector sleeves are made of the finest<br />
grade nitriding steel. They are gun drilled, finish<br />
reamed and honed for accurate concentricity<br />
of O.D./I.D. over full bearing length. The<br />
heads are hot-forged for uniform, consistent<br />
tensile strength and longer mold life. The<br />
outside surface is nitrided to a hardness of<br />
min. 950 HV 0,3 and is honed to minimize<br />
wear and give trouble-free performance. Your<br />

of diameters and lengths to suit a variety of<br />

Flexible Cores<br />
Manufactured from spring steel this unit allows<br />
the release of small undercuts. It is activated by<br />
the ejector plates as a standard ejector. They<br />
come with a reference plane and a conical<br />
fixing system, which saves cutting the flexible<br />
core to fix it.<br />
