I have had the pleasure of knowing Erica Womer for many years. I know that she has<br />
exceptional teaching skills. I can attest that she is a gifted writer and an extraordinary<br />
person. She possesses remarkable organizational skills. She is easygoing and friendly.<br />
I first met Erica when she was in Middle School. She was an excellent student; always the<br />
first with the correct answer. She always volunteered to go above and beyond. Erica’s<br />
dedication to always doing her best was evident from the moment that I met her.<br />
I was Erica’s teacher from Middle School until she graduated from High School. Her<br />
creativity and leadership showed through again and again over the years. She was a student<br />
who could be counted on.<br />
By the time she was in High School, I was so impressed with Erica’s work that I invited her<br />
to help me teach group piano classes in the evenings. I mentored her in the art of teaching<br />
for years in a real teaching environment as we worked side by side in group piano<br />
instruction. She was an excellent pupil and an excellent teacher.<br />
I know that Erica had a very positive experience in her days of attending MS and HS and I<br />
also know that she graduated at the top of her class when she was a senior. As an adult,<br />
Erica has served as a substitute at Halifax for two years. She knows our school and our<br />
programs well.<br />
As a teacher for almost 20 years, I am ever conscious of continuing the tradition of<br />
excellence into the future and I know Erica will be a positive attribute to your district.<br />
